A mixed experience. During this 2 hour experience the tea was fabulous, but the cup was empty more than full. The environment was super cute and kitschy, but understaffed for the amount of clients. The food was mediocre and did not match the menu, but the almond cake was superb.

This tea house is on point! The ambience and service are amazing. We were offered at least 6 different hot teas to try and had a delicious mango ice tea. My favorite bites were the raspberry scone and the almond cake but all the tea sandwiches and the tomato soup were also quite good. We went at noon and were served more than enough food to be a meal and then some. I also feel the quality of the food was high and despite the price being moderate. I will definitely come back!

I’ve been looking for something different to do around this area, and Sweet Tea Café in DeLand was such a nice find. The space is set in a renovated house with a cozy, vintage charm. She served us different types of tea, sweets, and tea sandwiches, all thoughtfully prepared and part of the experience. It was such a fun and memorable experience, and a great way to spend time with friends. Definitely something different from a typical lunch.

Today i went to this charming tea house with my daughter and granddaughter for her 6th birthday. We had a great experience, the old victorian house is charming and decorated beautifully a very feminine feel to the home . There are several rooms and our table was waiting for us with Happy Birthday banner and a special happy birthday girl pin for my granddaughter! We were seated and promptly served delicious warm scones and delicious peach ice tea and then our tea cups began to with the first of many different types of tea , we were served a wonderful quiche and tea cup of broccoli cheese soup, then a 3 layer plate tower was brought out to our table where we had several desserts on tonext two layers were our different types of sandwiches perfect sized and then we all sang happy birthday and my granddaughter was given a brownie in a cup with ice cream on top it was perfect ! The owner and her daughter served us all and explained everything we were getting and she and her daughter were excellent hosts very sweet and gracious, when we went to leave she told my granddaughter to pick out one of her stuffed animals to take home !!! I would recommend this establishment for any small group

My bridal shower was hosted here and it was PERFECT!! The porch was a perfect place for games, mingling and drinks (also pictures on the swing). The inside was so adorable and made the perfect setting for a spectacular tea party! The owner and her daughter were so kind and sweet/professional. The tea was amazing and the food was delicious!!! Absolutely loved this entire experience and would highly recommend stopping by or having an event here!!
